My Evening with Kathrine Switzer

I am sure many of you remember my meeting Kathrine Switzer back before the Akron Marathon. She is one of my heroes. She is the first woman to run the Boston Marathon with numbers. She helped to make a place for women in running. It is because of her tireless efforts that there is a women's marathon Olympic event. She was so gracious...lots of energy...lots of fun and a wealth of information. I adored meeting her and am THRILLED to have this picture.
