First run in new shoes

I ordered my new shoes last weekend after a horrible run.  My Brooks lasted longer than 300 miles.  The last couple of rns have produced foot pain...which for me means NEW SHOES!  I ordered Saucony Progrid Hurricane 12.  They came in on Tuesday and I have been itching to hit the pavement.  I finally got out this afternoon!  I ran 6.2 miles (10k) it was wonderful.  I also ran without a coat.  YEAH.  Is spring here to stay?

Tomorrow another run with my running partner.  I am hoping for 8.  We will NOT be running big bear!
