Every year my church has the Pet Blessing in observance of St. Frances of Assisi's feast day. So, members of the parish bring their pets to the circle at church. This is Tiger's eleventh blessing.
We do the same thing at my synagogue. This is done the same week we read about Noah in our Torah reading. Talk about chaos! It's hot, the kids & their families are milling around with their pets, & I'm trying to avoid stepping in dog poop. Ah life! So sweet!
